I decided to replace my headliner with cloth purchased from the Fiero Store, and all went well, except for one problem; there is a nickle sized mark where the glue bled through in i spot.

Does anyone take whatsoever tips on what I tin can do to go it out? Is there any promise?

dab lighter fluid on a fabric and light rub the glue spot. might try a scrap piece first make certain it does non discolor cloth

If it was just on the surface I would say restriction parts cleaner but considering it's a bleed thru you lot may take a low percentage of success.
I agree that I would recreate with some fleck liner and try a few of the suggestions offered showtime.

I used "K-Grip" in an aerosol tin which the Fiero Store sent me with the liner material.

I didn't have lighter fluid, but found some Goo Gone and dabbed the surface with it. I had some mild success, in that it can withal exist seen, but the stain is no longer white and crusty. I'll have another go at it, and it if proves to be unsuccessful, I'll try some of the other remedies mentioned.

Lighter fluid works beautifully! Not 100% but unnoticeable to anybody but you lot! Thank you for the tip!

My Carpet Cleaner guy uses "Brake Cleaner" to get out nasty stains. I've used it before on my upholstery to spot make clean grease. May non accept any touch on glue, simply as stated effort it on a piece of flake first.

The factory and replacement fabrics for headliners is pretty frail. I doubt your going to get any passable results with anything. The textile is very porous and fuzzy. Its nearly impossible to even get some mild dirt out of information technology without rubbing downwards the nap or discoloring information technology. I detail cars, and light color headliners are a nitemare to mess with and seldom look better afterwards. Wish you good luck though. Best gamble is patting...and Non rubbing at all. Fifty-fifty my professional upholstery cleaner machine cant do anything with them.
