How do I install Legacy of the Dragonborn v5?

I've only ever used Vortex to download and install mods, just Legacy of the Dragonborn now requires manual download. The Installation Guide is extremely vague; what do I exercise here? Too, information technology wants me to download and run the FOMOD Installer , which comes in as a nil file and non a runnable program. Tin can anyone walk me through this, please?

You tin can install with Vortex, he just says non to download information technology with Vortex

Do you need a guide on how to install a file through Vortex or are you lot practiced from there?

From the Install Guide you linked to "Install Legacy's cadre package using your mod programme like MO2 or Vortex (NMM and manual install is not supported or recommended)."

When I unzip the download file and try to drag and drop it into Vortex, it doesn't have it. I'thousand not sure how to continue.

I am running v5 with a mod manager download, just I'k using MO2. I recall that event with larger downloads was NMM only, but I could be wrong on that.

The larger downloads issue is Nexus, not the manager. It has trouble dealing with big mods in general.

Sorry to revive an quondam thread , mayhap better than making a new one.

I'g also having trouble installing LOTD. I'grand using Vortex and have tried both manually downloading the file every bit well as downloading through the mod manager. Every fourth dimension I click new game , it only starts a normal new game. Am I doing something wrong? I'd actually similar to endeavor this new mod

Download every bit .nothing, then elevate the goose egg file into the download box in Vortex, and then finally download the Legacy of the Dragonborn Patches file (linked to on the main page of the mod) and go through that as normal
